Privacy-First Commitment

TechnoLean Lab respects your data privacy. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data for commercial gain. We use privacy-first analytics, strictly necessary security cookies (Cloudflare Turnstile), and TLS encryption for all transmissions.

01. Introduction

TechnoLean Lab ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you visit our website at technoleanlab.com or engage with our electronics engineering services.

02. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you submit a contact form, request a project quote, or correspond with us by email. This typically includes your name, email address, company name, phone number, and details about your project requirements. We also collect technical data automatically through Cloudflare analytics, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on our site.

04. How We Use Your Data

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiries, prepare project proposals, deliver our engineering services, and improve the content and functionality of our website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

05. Cookies, Cache, and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device; caching stores copies of site content to load pages faster. Here's exactly what we use and why:

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Our website uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our contact and quote forms from spam and automated abuse. This sets a short-lived cookie that is essential for the form to function securely and cannot be switched off if you want to submit a form. No consent banner is required for this category under UK PECR, as it's strictly necessary for a service you've requested.

Privacy-First Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics provides us with aggregate, privacy-first site usage statistics (e.g. pages visited, load times) without setting cookies or tracking individual visitors across sites or over time.

Search Performance

We use Google Search Console to see how technoleanlab.com appears in Google Search results — aggregate data such as search queries, impressions, and click-through rates. This data is collected by Google from search activity and does not involve cookies placed on our website or tracking of individual visitors by us.

CDN Content Caching

Our hosting and CDN provider (Cloudflare) caches static page content, such as images and page layouts, closer to your location to improve loading speed. This is a performance mechanism, not a tracking mechanism, and doesn't involve storing personal data in the cache.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind. If this changes in the future, we'll update this section and, where required by law, ask for your consent first via a cookie banner.

06. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services that may process your data: Cloudflare for hosting, security, performance, and privacy-first analytics; Supabase for database storage of contact form submissions; Resend for transactional email delivery; and Google Search Console for aggregate search-performance monitoring. Each of these services maintains their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We ensure all third-party processors comply with applicable data protection regulations.

07. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers, including Cloudflare and Resend, operate infrastructure outside the UK and European Economic Area as part of their global networks. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK GDPR, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or EU Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated into our providers' own terms.

08. Data Retention and Security

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, typically for the duration of a project engagement plus a reasonable period for follow-up communications. All data is transmitted using TLS encryption and stored in secure, access-controlled environments. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

09. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request that your data be transferred to another organisation (data portability), where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

10. Children's Privacy

Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Changes take effect once published here, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

12. Contact Us and Complaints

If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal data, please contact us at sales@technoleanlab.com.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk , though we'd appreciate the chance to resolve it directly first.
